Applicants are advised to follow the below mentioned steps to submit applications at Quoprro Global Services - India Visa Application Centre:
- Download the application form.
- Application forms can also be availed at the application centre.
- Submit completed and signed application form along with recent passport photographs & other supporting documents depending upon the type of application.
- Ensure correct and applicable fees including Quoprro Global Services – India Visa Application Centre charge of HKD 54 per passport is included with the application.
- Applications can be submitted in person only. Applicants must hold valid Hong Kong or Macau ID cards to obtain a visa. Certain categories of visas can also be issued to applicants who are not normal residents of Hong Kong and Macau, after the Consulate General obtains clearance from the Indian Missions in the countries of the applicants' normal residence. A period of 4 to 5 working days is required for processing such applications. Please note that requisite clearance needs to be obtained before issuance of any visa. Visas will not be processed unless the Consulate General releases the applications post clearance.Applicants not holding HK/Macau ID cards will need to apply in person on both occasions. First on submission of application and second, on approval of visa for submission of passport and visa fee.
- Applications at the application centre can be submitted during business hours only.
- Visa - Fees and service charges payment can be paid only in Cash at the application centre. Personal cheques, credit cards or debit cards will not be accepted.
- Certain applications may not be lodged directly at the application centre. The application centre may need to refer the case to the Consulate for an approval before acceptance of visa fees.
- Visas can be obtained on the same day if the application is complete in all respects, cause for urgency is proven and subject to the cut-off times mentioned below.
- Cut-off times for same-day visa applications - 9:00 am to 10:00 am. People travelling from Macau are requested to arrive early and apply by 9:30 am to receive their visas in the evening around 5:45 pm.
- Submission officer at the counter will advise you of the collection date and time as per the daily count of applications. (Please apply well in advance to plan your travel better keeping in mind the processing time during the season.)
- Time slots for Travel agents - 10:30 am to 1:00 pm.
- Applicants not holding valid HK/Macau ID cards cannot obtain same day service as explained in point no. 5 above.
- Any emergency service on weekends need to be obtained directly from the Consulate General of India, Hong Kong based upon approval from the issuing officer. This again is only applicable for emergency cases of bereavement of family members.
- Please note that the above mentioned processing times are subject to clearance of applications and necessary approvals.
Approvals and clearance differ based on factors like place of birth, nationality of passport held, etc. Certain applications for visas may require an interview with the issuing officer at the Consulate General of India, prior to or after the lodgement of application.
